I know I can schedule posts but it would seem that I was so distracted by the family festivities that I failed to do anything for a few days. So Merry Christmas…a day late! Anyway, I can’t be contributing to someone spending time online when they should be having fun offline, so that’s why I didn’t post anything…yeah, I like that reasoning much better. That’s my excuse! Here’s a virtual Christmas card since I wasn’t exactly on the ball about getting them all sent this year.
As you can see, this Christmas, we didn’t have any fun…
Just to be clear, the mustaches and hats were part of our Christmas cracker or poppers we used to decorate the table. As an added touch, my crafty daughter also shaped the napkins into Christmas trees.
I am amazed at just how quickly Christmas came and went this year. So I’m revisiting the Holiday To Do List I posted earlier this month to see how I did…remember this one?
I had the hardest time with numbers 1 and 6…because it’s so easy for us to look to the future at what we need to do or accomplish and also easy to look behind us at what used to be. But boy, the moments I manage to be in the moment and just be present are priceless! Same thing for “Be the Light.” I so want to be the light, but so many times I see what other people are doing on this one and wondering why I can’t do that as well as they do. Darn comparisons are dangerous things, I tell ya!
So how did you do this holiday on the To Do List, or any of your other To Do Lists?? Maybe we should just ban to do lists at Christmas entirely and just BE…yeah, I’ll let you know how that works out for me next year!
