Holiday Fair is the region’s largest holiday arts, crafts, and gift show. Looking for unique gifts for the holidays? Easy to find them here with more than 300 crafters and commercial vendors from 15 states in this three-day award-winning fair.
December 1-30, 2016
This popular science center is known for its holiday lights drive through. Winter Wonderland includes lighted walking trails, Santa Claus, a balloon artist, concessions, and giant holiday greeting cards created by local area students. After you have visited WinterWonderland, continue on to the 1.5 mile drive through the large displays including Candy Cane Lane, Santa’s Sleigh, the Caterpillar, and many other family favorites. Roper Mountain Holiday Lights is the only not-for-profit holiday lights event in the Upstate with all of the profits helping education and local non-profits.

Looking for something a little different? Try the live nativity at Whispering Pines Stables in Mauldin. It’s a free event with the Christmas story told every 20-30 minutes. Featuring hay rides, hot chocolate and a bake sale.

This classic ballet tale rolls into town twice. Both Nutcrackers are at the Peace Center: the first by International Ballet and the second Carolina Ballet.

The largest drive-through, fully synchronized, LED Christmas light and music show of its kind. Greenville is one of 6 cities hosting this stunning lights and sounds show that is sure to mesmerize.

Located in the heart of downtown Greenville, Ice on Main is an open-air ice skating rink. There’s something about ice skating that just makes me feel ready for the holidays.

Breakfast with Santa: $20 per person includes breakfast with Santa, provided by Texas Roadhouse, a free guest pass to the zoo, and a chance to win fun prizes! Registration required.
Or you can enjoy the zoo AND take your photo with Santa! This event is free with paid admission and offers zoo guests the opportunity to visit with Santa and enjoy an afternoon at the zoo. The first 100 children to have their photos with Santa will receive a free cookie. Hot chocolate, coffee, and holiday music.

For more than 75 years, the parade has signaled the start of the Christmas season in Greenville. Each year the parade attracts thousands of visitors downtown to view the holiday floats and activities.

“Christmas time is here!” Tis the season for Charlie Brown, Snoopy and all of the Peanuts gang to bring the holiday season back to life. Discover the real meaning of Christmas in this musical adaptation of the classic animated television special that is fun for the whole family. Charlie Brown and the gang performed by talented local kids? Sounds like a hit to me!

In its platinum anniversary year, TSO is bringing back its treasured tale, “The Ghosts of Christmas Eve” to Greenville for two performances on December 9, 4pm and 8pm.
